This meme is gacked from a couple of places. I feel a bit guilty using it since I haven't actually made any suggestions for anyone else, but on a personal/narcissistic note I found it too interesting to resist. I blog about pretty much anything and everything that occurs to me, so it'd be cool to know what doesn't occur to me, yet occurs to other people.
Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, thoughts on yaoi, favorite type of underwear, life experiences etc. Repost in your own journal so that we can all learn more about each other.

I did learn one new thing about myself from C. the other day. She mentioned that a girl had made out with her at a party, and that she was pleased and surprised because she's "cautious of people who look too normal". Which led to a discussion about what looking too normal is, if it's enough not to look like Tank Girl or the Elephant Man, or if it takes something more, and whether or not I looked normal. The answer, according to C., was "not quite." Because looking normal to her meant wearing a reasonable amount of makeup, and fashionable clothes, and not one's mother's hand-me-downs.
Good to know. *grin*
Truth be told, even my mother is horrified by some of the clothes I put on. She gives me some old cardigan because I'm cold, and says, "You can keep it if you want, it doesn't fit me anymore, but promise to only wear it around the house!" "Sure!" says I and promptly wear it everywhere. As long as there's no dress code and I'm not naked, I don't much care. But apparently it means I don't look quite normal.
I'm kind of amused at this, since I've always assumed that I did look normal, just most boring than most people. I wasn't aware that total disregard for my outfits was enough to borderline unnormal me.
