(no subject)
Quick heads-up of what's going on and why I'm not around much this week:
My computer did a nasty trick on my the other day, so I had to reinstall the OS, and then all the programs. Good news is that almost everything is back and my hard drive still has a lot more space than it did before. (And no documents were lost - they're on my other hard drive.) Bad news is tht I lost all my wallpapers and bookmarks. And for some reason, Mozilla won't let me keep any bookmarks. It's driving me nuts.
This afternoon, I'm going to Örebro to see my cousins and my sister and all the relatives who are coming up for my cousin's 50th birthday. So no Internet this weekend.
I've now seen Brokeback Mounatin with Padma. Will give thoughts when I have time. Sufficient to say, Padma called her mom afterwards and said, "Hi, it's me. Yeah, it was good, I can see it again with you on Saturday. Oh, but since you're nearly as sentimental as Katarina - because it's not possible to be as sentimental as Katarina - you should probably bring tissues."
I haven't seen the new Lost ep, but I've been thoroughly spoiled. Main thought: I've come to the point in my fannishness where what I really want to know is whether or not an ep josses my story. This one didn't. Yay! It means I can write without fear, knowing that it will (sadly) be a while before I have to worry about that again.
