Lawyer, hands and work
I had my first Kortizone shot yesterday. Hurt like a mother F*er. That needle was sooo long. OUCHIE. But after all that pain it didn't seem to do anything. My hand still hurts like hell. The doctor told me that they normal have ppl take IBProfin but since i'm allergic to it he gave me a perscription. Supposedly it's helping to keep the inflamation down but all I feel is numb. I feel like I have very little control of my body. I feel dazed. My left hand, the one that got the shot, feels worse than it did before. This is soo not kewl. I'm supposed to go in next week for a shot in my right hand but not sure they will do it considering the results from the left hand.
In other news, seems the contract that I mentioned before that would take me back to New Orleans for 6 months to a yr is about to kick off middle of this month. They got the funding and have already called 2 of the 50 ppl out there. If I get called seems I won't be able to go at all. This totally sucks. I'm passing up so much money that it makes my stomach hurt. My Lawyer decided it was time to request a hearing and that should get us a court date in the next week or so. Things are moving, but slowly.
This weekend Z and I are getting the keys to the new apartment. We start moving on friday evening after he gets off of work and picks up Munchkin. Going to be a busy weekend. Hopefully with all the help we are getting we should be done by the end of the weekend. At least, we hope so.
