Sunday Game Day
So today was slow going until right around the 7 o'clock hour. Then it turned into hurry up and wait.
And why was it hurry up and wait, you may not be asking?
Because
apollymi and I rolled over to the Student Life Cinema over on FSU's campus for the official Game of Thrones Season Three Premier Event. And when I say official, I mean that there were reps from HBO actually on my campus to host to premier party. They gave away something like 40 box sets of Season Two (as per my usual luck, I didn't obtain one) and a bunch of HBO and GoT swag. Yami and I walked away tonight with a grand total of 3 character posters (Tyrion Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen, and John Snow), a large Season Three GoT poster, two HBO tumblers (one black, one white), a GoT notebook with the shadow of one of Dani's dragons, and a shit tonne of House X pins. Seriously, we have about a million House Stark pins now, I'm not even joking.
And omfg it was an awesome premier! Plus it was free; the only money spent was $5 on two medium sodas at Concessions. Plus we have a brochure of everything Student Life Cinema will be showing for late spring for free, so we're likely to be making this our stop for movies we wanna see that are popular but that we're not willing to spend $10+ for tickets on.
