A Little Bit of Sunday Random
• MTV's Teen Wolf has very quickly become my new crack. If I have any time with NaNo this year, a fic for that fandom might be the order of the day.
• I've started on my first real knitting project. It's a fairly simple set of fingerless gloves done with seed and stockinette stitch upon the request of my darling
apollymi; Special Collections at the library has to be kept between 68F and 72F at all times, so she has to deal with a chill every single day of the year. So I'm knitting her up 2 pairs of gloves - one set for home and one set for work - and plan to make myself a pair as well. I'm knitting them flat and know it means a seam, but I am so very much Not Ready to try knitting in the round or with double points.
• I have the second test of my Business Law class coming up on Thursday. Thank the gods for open book tests! There's way too much stuff to memorize, and the teacher has even straight up said that if/when we go into a paralegal career and are asked about x-law, we'd be expected to look up the information so she sees no point in making us try and memorize stuff we can just look up anyway.
• The kittens are all doing their best to drive me out of my mind. I can't spend two minutes straight at my desk without a cat trying to plop his or her ass right on the keyboard. There's a reason why I've been retreating to my bedroom (and turning on the fan) to get the inch-and-a-half I have of the knitting done thus far...
