Thoughts on various things

Not a whole lot of things, mind you, but still a variety.

• After several weeks of poking and prodding at the building maintenance guys, we finally got the rails for my filing cabinet today. This means that I don't have to keep going into the Ex-Boss Lady's old office whenever I need to deal with travel documents. This is a good ♥
• My runes arrived last week safely, and they're rather lovely. I didn't get them until after the first day of Spring, and I'm not quite sure I'm ready to try and do a reading for myself, so it may be another week or so before I break them out. I'm somewhat lacking in a white cloth, too, although I might be able to use my pillowcase for that when I'm ready to make an attempt.
• 
  apollymi had another hacking to her websites, and the thought process is that whomever did it last time left themselves a back door to get back in as quickly as they did. She's currently recoding everything back to HTML format from PHP, and I'm giving serious thought to helping her out with at least some of it. Yami, if you show me again what to do and shoot me the files (or trick Mitternacht into logging me in to take care of some of it while you're in there on Ripley), I'll see about getting some of the coding work done so it won't take two to three weeks.
• Due to work crazies and feeling fifty kinds of lazy when the weekend arrives, my seeking has slacked off. I'm going to try and kick my ass back into gear on finding my patron/s very soon.
• And, probably the most random of the various things this little post is going on about: I'm considering going back to school for accounting. Yes, me. An accountant. It's a valid profession, and Big Bonus Sister has been doing it for years with nothing bad to say about it. Plus I kind of always liked playing with sums and figures, so this could be a good move for me.
