Beta Reading is Unappreciated, Part the Second
OK, I'm sure y'all remember my post from a couple days ago. If not, feel free to click here and refresh your memory.
It's taken me the past two days to cool down from her response to my message which basically said "Well, you have someone else to read for you, so I'm sure you don't need me anymore." She responded about six hours later, but as I was attempting to write (it wasn't working) I hadn't bothered checking my FF.net email account.
When I finally did, though, any chance of writing on Friday night went right out the fucking window. I repost her reply here, as it arrived to my inbox (meaning, no, I didn't even beta read this goddamned thing, I'm still so pissed):
"I don't know about that, she beta-reading it but she hate femmes, she stop if
come across one she dosen't like."
Naturally, I have not bothered to grace this with a response.
I'm just through with this chick. I won't do work that won't be credited, nor will I accept it when her "friend who doesn't like femmes" receives the credit for the work I know damned well I did two weeks before she posted the fic. That shit don't fly, as I said before, and I'm just done.
