Today, I went to see Order of the Phoenix at the IMAX theatre in the West-Ed Mall. They had remastered the print specially. Went to see 300 - the fascist subtext was so blatantly obvious it would be an insult to your intelligence to describe it.

I enjoyed the film, which was disturbing as there was a constant nagging thought that Joseph Goebbels would have given his private parts to put this, or something like it, thing into German cinemas in 1943.

And I've tried to play fair, with representative keywords. One was made in 1957 and one in 1940, BTW. It's probabally a bit easy, actually.

* I HATE fixing stuff. My supposedly 'rugged' USB flash drive has died - the USB plug broke away from the circuit board. Now, I'm going to have to sacrifice a USB extension cable so I'll have a USB plug with a length of stripped wire. I went to see the German movie Downfall last night. I highly recommend it. It seems to have got some flack for failing to portray Hitler and his cronies as one-dimensional monsters - ie bad stereotypical movie making as mandated by political correctness.
