Prom '06!
Truth be told I'm glad prom is over with. So much stress leading up to it, with the shoes and dress and hair and date and plans, yadda yadda yadda. But it was really fun, and La Traviata had some great steak. Mmmm. And everyone won prizes!! Brad got sick with flu-like symptoms right after the prom, which sucks, and we didn't go to any after-parties. Everyone looked incredibly beautiful. College update: I've gotten rejected at Northwestern and waitlisted at W & L, but I DO NOT want to go to W & L. And I've pretty much decided that I want to go to UT Austin. I am definitely sure I want to go to grad school no matter what I end up majoring in/pursuing as a career, so I'm planning on hopefully going somewhere out of state as a grad student.
Pros: I know Austin, I can avoid flying, and it's cheap!! More money for grad school and car and etc, I get to catch up with the people I grew up with who didn't go to Saint Stephen's, I wanted a big school (lol), my parents are retiring and moving away (yes!), basically half of my family went to UT and can fill me in on what's what: my cousin is a senior next year, I have a good friend from elementary school who's already offering to room with me, I will be close to KRISO and KATIE and possibly Nick, and last but not least, I can see everyone no matter when they come back on break!!
I know you and I both didn't expect me to do that. We'll see, plans are not finalized. But UT is a top choice.
Everyone reading this should get a facebook account!! They changed the high school/college facebooks so they are now the same facebook, and you can friend people in both high school and college. I have tons of pics posted, and probably some of YOU, yes YOU. It's safe and secure and an easy way for me to keep up with your lives, which I am very much interested in. Thus concludes my little advertising section, lol. XP
