So, squee and excitement, Lance emailed me back! (still need a good codename for him) Not only did I *NOT* scare him away (thank you Jesus, amen, hallelujah, uh huh) he actually enjoyed it. Prolly made him laugh, made his day, I'd like to think :D.

HE'S IN CHICAGO!!! How cool is that?! Filming scenery, he says, for his documentary. Cool or WHAT?

He also mentioned that the circus is doing clown auditions this year! There's already been two of them, but there's another one coming up in LA, if anyone's interested. He suggested I get an act together and go audition. heh heh. He thinks I'm funny.

And I'm not! Golly. If I do have real wise cracks, they're few and... well, a bit inbetween. I do have good lines here and there. Mind, it's context. He also suggested learning basic skills like "juggling etc.". Now, I know how to juggle. I CAN do it, but two balls are despairingly easy and three balls are slow, and I haven't even bothered getting any higher than four or five in my LIFE. I suppose I could go practice, and it'll give me something to do when bored over the summer. I mean, I am not prepared to be a clown. And I DEFINITELY don't have money to go to LA, and my dad's not paying for me to go to clown school, I'm sure. Awesome though it would totally be.

Nevertheless, it's cool to talk to someone who makes their living with pies. I mean, seriously. I mean, I'm sure going facedown into a pool of piestuffs has to first of all be difficult to master, and second off, who really wants pie in their nose? Not to mention prancing about in a pink tutu and a ribbon wand when you're a GUY. That's either a masochistic ego, or severe humility. And having met the guy, I want to believe the latter.

Still! That is so cool. He recommended watching the Stooges for style. I think I'm going to throw in some Roger Rabbit and Goofy for myself. :D I love Goofy so much.

Also, curious thing, Blurb just updated. I'm curious to see what changes are in there -- maybe it'll have a layout that's less annoying than the one they have now! Eurgh. It's very frustrating. I also added myself to their fan page on Facebook, and then resultingly NaNoWriMo and ScriptFrenzy. Oh yes. Very exciting. *lightbulb* You know, I should put up a C4 page! :D I'm so brilliant! I'll do that before checking out Blurb -- then I want to do some character studies for Abney Park. I found my notebook for it this morning! So, fun stuff. I have a plan now!
