You're Dreading Reading This As Much As I've Dreaded Writing It

Oi... goodness, and have I been dreading this. Mostly because there's so much to tell you, and I know I'll miss plenty.

First off, most recently, I've joined twitter - https://twitter.com/ladyslupe13 for those interested. :P Feel free to follow, give me some visible pressure! Also, Dana and Katie are reminding me of how awesome they are and I find myself most fortunately in their favours enough to merit Christmas cards! Enough to make me want to do another unprecedented fail against my better judgement and send out physical cards, and I'm likely to do it. I also started a WarCraft account, another thing I said I wouldn't ever do (which is really interpreted as 'not something I'm likely to do without coercion and sufficient boredom') and it's actually pretty cool - although I don't know if I'll have the money to upkeep a habit like that. Still, it's a pretty cool game.

Lessee... :D oh, yes! Aether Shanties also came out, and it's an absolute delight to listen to! ^-^ As a further sign of what awesome people I know (and know me, and LIKE me enough to do such awesome things for me) Erin has purchased a copy for my for a belated Christmas present (T-T on the belated bit), and while I wait for it, one of my connections (who had a copy and took pity on my poor soul) sent me some rips, so I have la musica, even if the CD is stlil on its way. I INTEND to get it signed at Dragon*Con, but that's assuming I have the money for it. The cash flow was... pathetic at best this year for my birthday. I'm hoping for much better for Christmas, but so far I only have $30, and all of my birthday money was spent on party schtuffs and a couple things for myself (and a couple Svengali card decks, one of which is for Scoop, though I don't know if i'll keep the other one or send it to my secret santa) and then my last check (the moneymaker, I was sure) was spent on damn overdraft charges! Dumbass me spent $8 that I'd already spent on gas two WEEKS ago, that never went through. Damned bastards! Freakin' rippin' me off with that bullshit. Unfortunately, I don't have a reliable job, so I can't exactly apply for a credit card, so I'm just out of luck in that regard.

Also, I only have a little more than 5 grand for my college fund, so... that's really not good. I might last for this Spring and next Winter semester, MAYBE. :( I'mma gonna hafta have serious money to pay for my college. I'm going to have to take Joey up on her job offer, I'm sure. Although hopefully I'll be rolling in it come April - HOPEFULLY. But I seriously doubt that'll honestly help me get through college, for crying out loud. And what about Dragon*Con? It's $400 alone! AND I still have to worry about Circus Magic... -sighs- I don't like this not-having-money thing. Lord willing, he'll provide, but I'm still a bit worried. Seriously thinking that I'm going to do some Security work at the *Con. :D Sounds like the best plan, since it saves me money!

Lessee... Sticks! Yeah, still trying to figure out the new character designs. I can't quite think of something versatile, yet regular enough for Jay and Jo, so... that's still up in the air. Airship Pirates, on the other hand, is doing well - I'm listening to Aether Shanties and working on character pages - starting with Blackheart, who's going to be that dark pirate captain side of AP's work, while Roger is going to be a bit less dangerous. I'm thinking more of a Loner, which will help with what I have in mind for the Valkyrie. I'm thinking that, with a foil, it'll do better as a story, and having a villain will help me with plot. :D Which is always good.

Clowning is doing insanely well, what with all the fun things I got for Christmas, and I found that Torky works well as an elf's snow dragon - explains his fur! I had quite a bit of fun with it, honestly, at the Christmas Banquet. I also got a nice balloon apron for work this summer, and I'm definitely looking forward to it. I have two packages sitting downstairs waiting to go off to Scoop and my secret santa (who I'm sure isn't enjoying my forcing them to be patient, 'special since they're prolly gonna hafta get it after Christmas at this rate, which is saddening. =( I suck, man, let me tell you. I also have juggling and balloons I ought to be practising... -sighs- I'm too busy, yet I'm doing nothing.

But, that's me. Makes more sense if you're me, trust me.
