Clowns and Impatience
Ah, such craziness. I've amassed quite a collection of clowns on Facebook, and all of the visual stimulation (apparently Randy Snowden is very generous with a camera) has got Sev suitably inspired -- so, the first scene of Tears of a Clown (working title)! I'm going for a look that is the combination of Waiting for Godot, On the Road, and Catch-22; a road trip from the perspective of an aspiring clown. Lots of me is going into this thing, apparently, and I'm hoping to ask Lance if there isn't some kind of internship or something I can sign up for to get a taste of what it's like to be a circus clown.
:D Also, apparently FM 99 is hiring for their morning show, and I'm hoping to sign up for that. As it is, they asked for audio files as part of the resume, and I did call up VoTech -- I talked to the guy who got me to do a message for them last year, and see if they have a copy of it still. He said he'd check and get back to me -- I really hope he does.
As it is, Riley dedcided not to come today. A reminder of why I can't depend on people I thought we had an arrangement, but apparently not. And also, Lori totally forgot about me yesterday. This'll be about the fourth class in a row I don't get into class on time -- Monday I hardly slipped into the class before the teacher did, but that didn't mean I was punctual. I'm sure Sterling is going to fuss at me here shortly, and it's really ticking me off. As it is, this means I'm going to have to walk down to the 7-Eleven to break some ones so I can ride the damn bus, because god knows when Riley's coming by, because her phone isn't on her >x
Also, first day of hunger last week. Comes from not packing a lunch. Still no ride, but the Jimmy concert is tomorrow night, which is good, I guess. If Riley doesn't show up by the time I'm done with this, though, I'm walking. X0 gah! this makes me so mad!
:0D Here. A clown to make me feel better. ^-^. I do love the clown emoticons -- :oP and etc. It's basically a normal emoticon, only with a 'o' or a '0' to signify the red nose, which I think is actually rather clever. But then, I can be easily amused.
Ah, well. Ta, loves. I shall talk to you some more again later.
