(no subject)
Agghhh!! I feel like I have been cooking for 24 hours!! Yesterday, Tom's mom and dad came over to help make pumpkin rolls from 5:30-9:00. I had already started about 4:30. I finally got finished around 11:30, when Tom got home from work! We made 8 rolls. BAD NEWS: I screwed up three of them. I was trying to conserve bowls, because I think we used 12 already! So I tried to quadruple the recipe for the filling. I did quadruple the cream cheese and the butter, but did not quadruple the confectioners sugar and vanilla. Needless to say, I guess I'll be eating those myself! I can't serve them knowing they will taste crappy!! The filling is the best part, so to screw that up is VERY bad!!
Then, I still needed to make Tom's dinners for the week. I went to bed around 12, and worked from 8-11. My daddy took me to lunch at the Packard Grill....soo good! He bought me flowers and gave me my Christmas bonus!!! YAAHHOOO!! I love him! He gave me enough to feel safe now!! I don't want to spend it at all, but it's nice to know I have more than 3 dollars in the bank every week!
We put it into our "don't touch" bank account, so that it will be safe! Also, this weekend was pretty fun! Tom and I went to see Saw 2 and ate at the Villa in Eastpointe! Both were good!! Saw 2 is pretty scary, and bloody! But...it had a very good ending!! Saw 3??
Sunday, I had to work from 7-3. We went to Sam's Club to get all the ingredients for the pumpkin rolls. We also went to Best Buy to get a digital camera!! When we bought our TV in August or whenever that was, we signed up for the reward zone. We had earned ourselves $110!! Yahoo!! We applied that to our camera!! Yeah!! Belly pics, here I come! I did not want to wait for Christmas, because then I would be 20 weeks!! That's halfway there already!!! Yeah!!
