It's a shame that I spent most of today stuck inside a car. The weather in DC was gorgeous, especially in the park by my house. I always forget until I go back in the spring how beautiful the neighborhood is. No other place I've seen has sky that's as blue as the sky there, or grass that's as green. This is my new top upsettedness thing. It used to be lgbtq rights in general, focusing on homophobia as applied to the good ole steady gays and lesbians and perhaps bisexuals, but happily most people I run into now seem to be past that. Why do the two shows I currently like (Ugly Betty, Psych) keep wanting to deal with transgender issues, and not deal with them very well? I am not even mentioning House, because that episode already came after my initial disillusionment with the show. Why do they even want to go there? Can't they leave well enough alone? I just wanted to say that I'm proud of New Jersey for once.

I'm curious to see where this goes.

Today my roomate and I went shopping at Ikea for cheap furniture. Hurrah for 12 dollar coffee tables and inexpensive kitchen equipment! Also, there were delicious vegan tea-cakes in their bakery.
