It was their 1st anniversary and Key was still thinking on what to prepare for their simple dinner date inside their dorm since they are not allowed to go out.
“Yaaah Kibum! Will you stop walking back and forth? You’re making my head spin.” Jonghyun, Key’s bestfriend since their trainee days said. Key turned to Jonghyun and gave him his death glare.
“What exactly is your problem Key umma?” Taemin asked while sitting beside Minho and cuddled with his boyfriend.
“I don’t know what to cook for dinner later.”
Suddenly Jinki woke up to find his members to be in a sort of serious meeting without him.
“Why are you guys having a meeting without your leader?” Jinki jokingly said before giving Key a morning kiss.
“Happy first anniversary babe.” Jinki said before giving his gift to Key.
Key happily opened the box. He saw the necklace that he wants badly. His mouth formed an ‘o’ shaped when he saw it.
“How did you know I wanted this? This is so expensive Jinki. Thank you.” Key said to Jinki, still amazed that his boyfriend gave him the double cross necklace that he always wanted. He can’t buy it since it was very expensive.
“I heard you and Taemin talking about it one time and I decided to give that as my gift for you since I know you wanted that badly.” Jinki smiled his goofy smile before giving his boyfriend-or rather girlfriend because Key looks like a girl most of the time-another kiss.
Key is still thinking whether to cook western food or asian dishes for their dinner date.
I still don’t know what to cook later. 2 more hours for me to decide before I start cooking.
It’s already 5 pm and Key decided to start making the dishes while the other four played with their ps3.
6:45 pm. Key started getting ready for his dinner date with Jinki. 15 more minutes-why am so nervous? Will he like what I cooked? Of course Key, he is your boyfriend after all. He will like whatever you cook for him. Aish, why am I talking to myself?
Key walked towards their kitchen which was somekinda dim. He saw Jinki smiling so brightly while holding the necklace that he bought for Key. Key thanked him once again before sitting down on their table.
“Just wait there. I will get the dishes.” Jinki just smiled while waiting for Key.
Key cooked a lot to be honest. He cooked pasta, steak and other dishes that he can think of-except for one thing. The most special thing that this dubu wants-chicken.
They were almost done eating when Jinki noticed something.
“Yeobo, where’s the chicken that you promised me the last time you asked me what gift do you want me to receive from you?” Key slapped himself. Of all the dishes that he will forget, the second thing that his boyfriend loves. Chicken.
“It’s alright. As long as I’m with you, I don’t mind if there are no chickens for tonight. Just promise me tomorrow that you will cook chicken for me. Or else I will Minho that you spilled his secret to Taemin.” Jinki said with an intimidating voice. Key nods. I should never ever forget making chicken for him or I will suffer from his blackmails.
And that was the lesson that Key learned. Always give Jinki his chicken and make him happy so he won’t spill your secrets. That’s how much Jinki loves chicken-next to Key of course.
