Poll: Facepalm Passenger of the Week
Two passengers from the past week. Which one makes you facepalm harder?
Passenger 1: Came out of the lavatory and asked me (in all seriousness) if the little placard showing him how to find the door to the lav was really necessary. (This is the little sign in airplane lavs that shows a person with an arrow to a seat and it lights up when the seat belt sign comes on, telling you to return to your seat.) He would not believe me when I explained what it was.
Passenger 2: The entire aircraft had deplaned (a moderately lengthy and noisy process) and he was still sitting in his seat. I walked all the way back there and had to say "Hi! Are you ready to go?" before he looked up in surprise. His reasoning? He was too caught up in Twitter and hadn't even noticed everyone else was gone.
