So I had a talk with my mom.
I told her pretty much everything. *huge weight lifted off my shoulders*
She started to do that thing that moms do when you're on the subject of dating and all that, the smiling and 'knowing' looks like she knows exactly what's going on, and it's "cute." Like you're a newbie in a world of boys and she can't wait to watch what happens.
But she calmed down when I told her I don't want it to be a big deal to people. It's a big deal to me, a VERY big deal. But I don't like other people making it into what THEY want it to be.
She hadn't really said anything yet, and I was still explaining.
The first question she asks- "Are you going to Prom with him?"
Wow.
Random? Yes. I think so. Premature? Definitely. Ok? She's not upset... so it's GREAT.
I told her... IF he wanted to go, he can come with "us" (us=which ever group I'm going with)
She got all excited. =D
