not so lazy dayz
This evening was a good way to start the weekend, and close the busy week I had. I needed to take off a night at work just to catch up. IV has lots of things coming up that need planning, and schoolwork keeps coming along with the internship. I've gotten some great pictures of the gallery and I am thoroughly enjoying the new exhibit. But I've also had time to spend some amazing time in prayer and I am just bursting with joy in the Lord. :)
Today was jam packed, I had class, then work at Red Robin, then I had to prepare with some CNU TONiGHT kids to open up for this comedian (Reno Collier or something like that). We did a couple of skits and a quick news segment, it all went over very well. After all the hustle and bustle I got the idea to gather a group of people and check out the local hookah bar Lazy Dayz. Janelle and I got there early and got some spots on a couch with these 3 random guys. One of them was from Morocco, and they turned out to be really cool and fun to talk to. We got a plum flavored hookah, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I don't know much about hookah, but we all liked it. I figured out how to make smoke rings. My favorite quote of the night was (when asked what animal we all would be) one of the guys said "A polar bear, so I could cuddle with myself." I had a good time, we all just mellowed out and talked about random stuff and Morocco and God.
