Alas, poor Deathwing
The final cinematic for the Deathwing fight isn't out yet but some videos from the PTR are out showing basically the entire fight. It doesn't look all that interesting but raid videos rarely do, and it's totally different when you're actually playing it.
I can't wait to see the cinematic, but is it a bad thing that part of my eagerness is due to the fact that I can't write myself a stupid fanfic retconning him back to life until I know exactly how he dies? ROFL!
I never posted my horrible, sappy, canon-breaking, unfinished trainwreck of a fic that had Jaina basically splashing Eau de Sunwell on a dying Arthas to turn him back into his pre-Frostmourne self, and OMG it was the stupidest thing ever but it amused me to write it. XD
I doubt that my Deathwing crackfic will make any more sense but that's never stopped me from writing for my own entertainment before. And with the Bronze Dragonflight as built in deus draco ex machina, it can't be too difficult to figure something out. Heh.
Neltharion (waking up after being purged of all Old God corruption): Yaaaawwwwwn! Oh, guys, I just had the weirdest nightmare!

Neltharion: Whoa, things look different. How long was I asleep? And where's Malygos?
Ysera: It wasn't a dream, but, um... Wow, awkward.
Alexstrasza: Neltharion, do you hear any voices?
Neltharion: Of course I do.
Other Aspects: Uh oh...
Neltharion: Ysera said something about awkwardness and then you asked me if I could hear you. Yeah, I hear your voices just fine. Why?
Other Aspects: Phew.
Neltharion: So what's going on and where did that big whirlpool come from?
Alexstrasza: Well, it's a long story... Er, Nozdormu, you want to take this?
Nozdormu: Not particularly.
Neltharion: Wow, I can feel the elements of the earth are really disturbed. I must have been out for quite awhile for things to get this out of hand! I hope everything's okay.
Alexstrasza: Depends on your definition of 'okay.'
Neltharion: Huh? Gosh, I am so confused. Wait until I tell my consorts about this!
Alexstrasza: Um, yeah, about that... Hoo boy, where to begin?
Ysera (whispering): Maybe it would have been easier just to kill him.
Alexstrasza: Ssh!
Kalecgos: You guys seem to have this under control, so I'm just, er, going to leave now.
Neltharion: Say hi to Malygos for me...whoever you are.
