Random Potterish thoughts
Neither of these thoughts are 100% mine, but I've seen them mentioned elsewhere online and went "Wow!" so I'm sharing.
Black is the color of mourning. What color did Snape wear every day? Guess who's mourning for Lily? Aww...
Also, the entire series would never have happened without Snape's love for Lily. If he hasn't asked Voldemort to spare her, she wouldn't have had a choice between Harry's life and her own. That choice is what enabled that powerful protection to be created on Harry, allowing him to survive and blasting Voldemort out of his body. No Snape-love, no Boy-Who-Lived! Nyah!
I saw an LJ usericon with a snake on it that said "Nagini says, "Snape tasted like chicken!" Which is HORRIBLE but made me laugh. ;)
I had the idea to do a cartoon of Snape saying "I'm tired of this motherf***ing snake in this motherf***ing Shack!" but I see someone on DeviantArt beat me to it. It's a natural, I guess. ;) There have been "Snapes on a Plane" jokes for a long time already. Heehee...
