WC 3: The Frozen Throne

I wasn't on WoW tonight at all. I was sick of raiding and I wanted to do more with Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. I played it all evening and got to the end of the regular campaigh. Although I had to cheat to get past the last level with Arthas and Illidan competing for the four obelisks (I tried it the legit, cheat-free way twice and failed miserably, and I just wanted to see how it all ended, so...yeah, "whosyourdaddy" cheatcode FTW!) ;)

Awesome cinematic at the end of it, though. The sound clips from the earlier scenes as Arthas climbed to the Frozen Throne were a great touch.
(How he can move at all in that massive set of armor, I don't know. Must be an undead thing.) ;)
I like Illidan better than Arthas so I was rooting for him, even though I'd been exposed to enough spoilers to know how it would end. Can't blame a fangirl for trying, though. Heh.

After finishing the main campaign I started the Rexxar bonus campaign. Interesting stuff! It's like a precursor to WoW, the way you have several different quests to do at once, and you can wander around gaining XP and items and do the quests in whatever order, as you feel like it. Rexxar is fun to play with, too. (Nerf hunters! LOL!)
I got through the first part of the campaign, through where you exterminate a bunch of quillboars and peek through a telescope to see humans encroaching on Durotar. Then I had to call it a night. >_< Addictive game. Not that I'm surprised. ;)
