I'm BAAAAck!
Hello from Mount Pleasant!
I made it back in one piece from my month long adventure.
The last few days of the trip were great. We were in Montanita, a tiny little surfing town on the coast of Ecuador. We went whale watching (and although I got sea sick, it was still great), and I even got surfing lessons. I loved surfing! It was so challenging and FUN! If any of you ever get a chance to try it, jump on it! So cool!
My feelings about being back in Michigan are bittersweet. I love seeing all of my friends and family, and I'm glad about that. But I feel like there's nothing for me to do here. I know part of the problem is that I don't currently have a job, which will hopefully soon change, but I had so many crazy adventures and experiences in Ecuador and there's nothing like that anywhere close to Mount Pleasant. It's just very frustrating. On the plus side, I have a ton of energy and every day when I wake up I go for a run, I'm getting much healthier!
