Finals week is here. Although I should be writing pages on the empty word document on my tool bar; I just really don't feel like it right now. My first year of college ends on Tuesday. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. Seems like just yesterday I packed all my belongings into Senor Nacho boxes from the theatre and shipped up to Orlando with my best friend in the Malibumobile.

I realized how great I have it up here. Sure, it took sometime, but I finally have all my ducks in a row- it feels great. I've met some amazing people up here. Made awesome friends. I like my job, and I got promoted. I finally know where I'm going with my life as far as college goes.

I recently tried to patch things up with an old friend. I don't know where it's going, or what is to come of it. At least I tried, in light of everything happening with my mom lately the concept of 'life being too short' has hit me hard. The way I figure it is, life is too short to burn bridges when you have history with someone and you were so close. I know a lot of people don't agree with what I did, but I thought it was the right thing to do. I didn't open any doors to furthering a friendship, just tried to patch things up.

Well it's off to finish up some laundry and homework before I head to work tonight. Until next time!
