It was my journal you read that in. And in a very vague way, you fall under it whether you think so or not. You just said you don't give a flying flip about doing stuff for yourself rather than others. What I think is your "self satisfaction" subconsciously comes from the fact that helping others rather than yourself, perpetuates your tendency to self loathe. It makes it a lot easier to do stuff for other people, so that when they are happier, and you're still the same, you can come back and excuse it with "Well, I spend so much time worried about other people, I don't worry about myself, and that is why I'm alone." It's not always a conscious thing. The other thing is, YES YOU DO, give a flying flip about yourself, because if you didn't, you wouldn't work when you didn't feel like it, you wouldn't sleep, you wouldn't obey the law, you wouldn't bathe, you wouldn't do any of the things to take care of yourself that I know you do. The FIRST thing I thought of when I read this conversation btw you and katie was that Friends episode where Joey and Pheobe debate on whether someone can do a selfless good deed. anyone else agree? anyone else LOVE that episode?
