First off, let me say a big thank you to everyone who came to my birthday party. I had a fabulous time, and it was awfully nice to see all of you. My gifts we lovely and thoughtful, I'm a very lucky girl.
I know Angie will want to rundown of everything I received, so here are some highlights- don't say I didn't warn you:
Blaise, Daphne and Tracey sent me the most beautiful pair of earrings I've ever seen. Ali bought me a gorgeous top in a shade that ran perilously close to pink, but she knows me too well to actually buy that hue. Roger sent over the Drusilla Copley biography which I enjoyed immensely. Joe delivered dress-robes from Mum, though he couldn't resist complaining about them... heaven forbid I have a curve anywhere. Duncan, who works for me at the shop, gave me a box of chocolates and a rather embarrassing poem. It makes that one Ginny sent Harry her first year look like Shakespeare in comparison And Warrington had all the members of the Arrows sign a poster for me. It was absolutely brilliant, I about died.
I got some other lovely things as well, like I said, I'm very lucky. Thanks again to everyone who came. It was by far my best birthday on record.
The rest of my hols were rather uneventful. The family met up in Wiltshire, per usual, and it was the normal madness. I was put in charge of babysitting my certifiably insane, pregnant sister-in-law while the boys got to go have fun at the pub. Sometimes being the youngest and a girl is damnably unfair. And my father bought me and the same rugby shirt he bought Sam last year, though he only called me "William" twice. I should start dressing like a slag, maybe then he'd catch on that I'm not ACTUALLY his 5th son.
I hope everyone else had a great time and didn't get into too much trouble!
