News.
I told my work I was leaving 2 weeks ago.
I guess that's my two weeks notice because I'm leaving town on Wednesday and not next month as I had planned.
In order to get my trip paid for on the way to Cali I have to go with my new roommates NOW. It's complicated and It can't be helped (I found out today in mid afternoon and JUST now got 'home' to post this) Don't be mad at me its out of my control :\
I'm planing to do Japanese food SOMETHING on Tuesday night, after work. (Temari, Rockville pike) Call me or leave me one here to get together with me.
Also..
I was driving home from NY today. And in Delaware I was pulled over by a cop.
I barely saw him because he was RIGHT on my ass and I was a little distracted. I was also going.. like 85.
Now.. I pulled over to the right lane so he wouldn't be on my ass and then he turned on the lights.
I got my ID and my registration out and the cop walked over to the Passenger side.
He was incredulous "Did you know how fast you were driving? You were going 85!"
I was incredulous "What? 85? I was kinda distracted, with the music and talking to Dan (My passenger)"
He said "Isn't this a Hybrid? Do they even go this fast?"
I said "Well.. it's really quiet and I was distracted, it's hard to know how fast you're going because it doesn't rev."
He was amused "Didn't you notice all the people you were passing?"
I said "no..? there wasn't anyone around."
He asked me if I was going to slow down (After I explained I was tired and had a long way to go) or if he had to give me a Ticket. I said I would behave (And I did.. Mostly) and he let me go :)
Still.. his shock and amazement that the Prius could go over 65 was hilarious. Mostly older people drive them and they tend to drive them slowly.. xD
Anyway..

I WILL be going on Wednesday. But I will be coming back after I'm settled, to train my replacement, for a week (My boss will pay the fare and I can stay at my house during that time.) I got my boss a fucking replacement. Insanity ensues. Whatever.
