So my weekend has been...interesting. Went to Novi to hang with Josh for our birthdays. He's leaving for flight school in Florida soon, and I'm going to miss him. Went to dinner and realized my wallet fell out in my car, so no alcohol for me and Josh had to pay. He really wanted to go to the football game, because Novi was playing Northville and they are arch rivals, so we went. Luckily I had brought a sweatshirt with me. Froze my ass off and ended up sitting with Josh's parents because Josh ran into a bunch of friends from high school and I was feeling a lil awkward. Josh's mom gave me a blanket and she later dispathced Josh to get us hot chocolate. He and I left during the 3rd quarter, since it was pretty obvious Novi was going to win. Went to Tequila Rain, a bar in Novi and it was so over priced. A beer and a vodka cranberry cost $10.75! Pretty much all of Josh's friends in the area were out of town, so we left the bar and went to a Halloween party at his brother's friends house. It was small, so it was nice that I was comfortable enough that I could talk to people, and Josh didn't feel like he had to stick by me the whole time. One guy, kinda intoxicated, started to hit on me and when he found out that I live in Lansing, told me that he has season tickets to State's games and was going to be in town tomorrow and wanted me to come to the bar with him. So I gave him my number, totally thinking that I wouldn't hear from him. Went home Saturday morning, went to my flag football game where I felt like ass and we played really shitty because Nick wasn't there today and since he's the QB, Mike had to play in his place and our offense and defense was messed up. Came home, took a nap and Brad called, wanting me to meet him and his brother at the Riv in East Lansing. Even though I knew I should stay home and do homework, and the fact that I don't go to bars with people I really don't know (well...the birthday was an exception, but the guys had girlfriends), I decided to take a chance and go. Went in and hung out with Brad and Mike for a couple hours and had exactly one Amstel Light. The two of them got pretty drunk, as it was homecoming weekend and they are both alumni. I had fun, and Brad told me that he wants to hang out with me sober sometime, so I guess a date may be in the works. Me being a bitch told him that I'm not driving all the way to Novi, so he could either come here, or we could meet halfway, and he was up for that. Brad tried to get me to stay out longer, but I left around 10:30ish, to come home to do homework. He walked me to my car and gave me $10 to pay for parking, craziness! So who knows, another guy in the wings for me? He's 27 and has a proper job in Novi doing financial analyst stuff..... suga daddy anyone? lol. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. To sound totally bitchy, I'm not going to put in a whole lot of effort into Alex or Brad. If they want to see me, date me, talk to me, then they have to put forth some effort and prove to me that they do. I put so much time and effort in with Doug, and he didn't put in the same. I'm not going to waste my time on guys who don't really want to date me, you know? My time is too valuable with school to do that.
today has been a good day, though. went to the gym. picked up some groceries at Kroger. did my contracts and started Torts. went out to Williamston for dinner with my Aunt Sharon, Heather, Michelle, Elizabeth, and Emily. Lizzy and Emmy rushed to the door to greet me and hug me when I came in, so I felt loved. They coloured me about a million pictures too, so now my fridge is oh so decorated. we made s'mores, too.mmmmm s'mores. now just chilling before desperate housewives and grey's anatomy.
and to be honest, playing the field could be interesting. livin' la vida single. lol. it's nice to feel attractive and intriguing again.
