Today
1) Edward James Olmos and minnow1212 were at the conference I was participating in today. Okay, no, that's a total lie, it was some guy who looked like EJO (seriously, a lot like EJO) and a co-worker from another office who has the same body type as Minnow. But really, kind of freaky.
2) I blame shrift entirely for the fact that I've had "Barrett's Privateers" stuck in my head all day. It's gone something like this:
PRESENTER: *interesting and potentially useful information*
ME, under my breath: 91 days to Montego Bay, pumpin' like madmen all the way, God DAMN them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold...
3) I successfully resisted mentioning International Talk Like a Pirate Day in my presentation. But I gotta say, it was hard.
