Catching up

I seem to have slipped behind a bit. We haven't done much this week apart from go on some longish walks and make some progress with our garden refurbishment. We have had good news that our friend's cancer is not as bad as everyone first feared and he may not even need chemo, unless he chooses to have it as a precaution. That was very cheering

That's such good news about your friend.

I think my hair is more the gray highlight way, but I hate it. I want to get it colored, but the last time I got my hair done, the hairdresser said the way my scalp was it would probably hurt too much to do it. I think I'll still have to wait a little longer.

Thanks. It was very good news.

They checked that my scalp would take the dye before they did mine. I was quite surprised that it was OK as I'm allergic to lots of things but, luckily for me, not hair dye. It's worth waiting because you don't want it to be painful of have a bad reaction.

Definitely don't want too much pain, but I hate looking at the greys.

So did I. I suppose I will have to one day but I'm letting it go as long as possible before I finally decide I need to stop having my hair coloured.

Makes sense. I don't plan on dying my hair forever, but I'm barely into my 40s, so it feels it's too soon.
