A new experience
I've just done something I've never done before which is quite an achievement in these Covid days. I've lived in the centre of London and I've worked in the centre of London but I've never been to central London on holiday before. I needed to use some points from a holiday property company (for Brits it's like the Holiday Property Bond but not), which we would normally use abroad, but as we didn't want to brave the constantly changing rules and regulations for foreign travel we decided we'd go to their property in Lancaster Gate by Kensington Gardens. We had a really lovely time just pottering round an area of London we don't know very well and it felt like a complete break. We should, obviously, have gone to shows and exhibitions but we chose to spend our time eating too much instead. Sitting drinking coffee in the sunshine in the Italian Gardens area of Kensington Gardens it felt as if we were miles from home rather than about 12 miles. When anyone asks us where we went on holiday we can now say "Bayswater" :)

We were in a self-catering apartment last week so as that doesn't count the last time we stayed in a hotel was, I think, in November 2019 when we went to the BBC History Festival in Winchester.
2. Have you ever had any teeth pulled?
Yes, I had one out ages ago and a couple of years ago I had the tooth extraction from hell with a tooth that the dentist was about to give up on trying to wrench out and send me to the dental hospital. Luckily it came out at that point and I don't know who was in a worse state, him or me.
3. What is one of your favorite comedy movies?
Some Like it Hot.
4. Do you have a crush on anyone that you haven’t really talked to before?
No.
5. What is your least favorite sour patch kids color?
I'm too old to understand the question. Having looked it up I still can't answer as they are a kind of sweet I've never had and probably never will as I'm not really much of a sweet eater.
