I have been trying to get a new router from my internet service provider for about 5 years with no luck but today I may have got somewhere. Our broadband has been getting slower and slower and as I would rather like a new computer soon I thought it would be a good idea to sort it out before I get one. I finally bit the bullet today, got in touch with my internet provider and told them about my slow speeds and that I thought I needed a new router as mine was so old that it might have been discovered by Noah on Mt. Ararat. One hour and many tests later they agreed with me. I don't suppose for one moment that a new router will turn up and I'll end up having to buy one but at least I have it in writing from them that I need one as I copied the chat log. I'm noting this down here so I remember when I got in touch with them when the damn thing doesn't turn up.
I finally managed to meet up with my old school friends last night as we all decided we were infection free enough to risk it. My friend K's husband may have to have chemotherapy for leukemia soon, which is why we were all being extra cautious. We meet up regularly a few times a year and it always has to be rescheduled at least twice so it's always good to finally see everybody.
On with the meme.
10. Finish the sentence: There are two kinds of people in this world . . .
Those people who think there are two kinds of people in the world and those who don't. Sorry, I can't really do this one as there are always exceptions to every statement like this.
11. Make a list of three things you’d like to say no to.
1. Anything to do with our current political situation. Usually it's a howl of "Noooooo..."
2. Cheese. I love it and it is my downfall as I am trying to lose weight.
3. The blood test that my doctor kindly suggested it was time for me to have. I didn't say no but I really would have liked to as just setting foot in our surgery sets off all my medical phobia alarms.
