A bit surprising that. Obviously there wasn't a question asking do you pronounce the "ou" in "south" to rhyme with "ow" otherwise I would have been outed as a totally un-American South Londoner, or as we say it round here Sowff Lunnoner.
I'm not around too much at the moment as I'm being driven mildly crazy by the fact that my next-door-neighbour has been having work done on her house for the last 10 weeks and the intermittent crashing, banging and drilling has finally got to me! Add to that the fact that our recycling wasn't collected today, the gas man misread the meter so we've been overcharged by £140 and my arms are covered in a lovely allergy rash and itch like crazy. I think comfort book buying might be in order very soon if I am to retain any grip on sanity!
