So as some of you may know, a little less than a month ago I went to California and met
stoodupforlove and we had ourselves a BIG TIME VACATION! It was the best 5 days of my life and the best trip I had ever been on. She is the greatest person on the planet and completely and 100% my best friend and I love her to death. Can I just say how this happened? Because it is awesome. We just started talking on Twitter like the beginning/middle of July and then we decided "oh let's text rather then spam our followers." So we start texting and I just one day I tell her I want to go to California and that I am serious about it. To which she responds "well I can have a vacation the end of August." So, I look up ticket prices and then BAM , I am purchasing tickets to Cali. You should have seen our tweets that night, it was just "OH MY GOSH! Is this really happening?" AND we hadn't even been talking all that much, it was just crazy and SO amazing! God, I love her. And I will never be able to thank her enough for everything she did for me on this trip.
Okay I will not be able describing everything that happened, because it was just all so amazing and I still cannot fully believe it even happened. Just know there was tons of walking, buying water at EVERY CVS we went to, laughing, squeeing and Big Time Rush. Now if you want a detailed description of our trip, Kellie has it all.
Monday ,
Tuesday/Wednesday and then
Thursday/Friday .
I still wish I had gotten a picture of our hotel and the award that Hotel Guy got. Too funny.
Well onto the pictures! Now these are just pictures from the trip that are related to BTR. (and maybe a few random ones)
Okay a random one. This was right after I landed, got my luggage and we were waiting for the bus. I was flipping out over the mountains. Now I have seen a lot of mountains in my life, but I love them! And Texas has like zero mountains. :(
Hehe. Kellie was like "ahhh, look!" while pointing this out when we were walking to the next bus stop.
First BTR related thing we saw, besides the CVS that Glickman was at in his youtube video.
THE HEDGES! I still flip out over the hedges. We were walking to the Paramount Studios to kind of make sure we knew where to go and what not. And as we were walking there, I kept seeing hedges everywhere and trying to see if any were from Jobs. Finally when we decided to walk around the ENTIRE LOT, we hit the jackpot. :D
This was on Thursday when we came back for our tour and I wanted a better angle. :D
And just vaguely see the entrance to the Paramount Studios.
And see just in the top right corner is the entrance to the Paramount.
Because he is Carlos' dad.
The venue that they filmed for the bit in Concert. (I would have caps from the show to go with this, but I do not have them done and I cannot watch any BTR until next Friday. So if I was to cap, I would get wrapped into the show and then my bet would be over.)
Ah, at the end of Concert they run down here. *sigh* Wow.
And you cannot tell, because I have no caps, but the corner we are standing at, is the corner Guitar Dude was at.
Oh just to point out that that is the same building from the picture above this one.
And this is here, because Carlos said in an interview that this was his favorite fast food place. Yeah. :)
Giant billboard of the boys on the side of the Nick Studios on Sunset. Oh and they ask Kendall and Logan about this in that new Fanlala interview.
5th and...
Broadway.
Now this is where the party is supposed to be at in City, right? Well it isn't. The hotel they were at is actually farther down the road. I find it hilarious.
Look familiar?
Yeahhhhh.
:)
It was so cool getting to actually be here, though I wish we could have gone on the roof. ;)
Now we are at the Paramount tour pictures. And this is Mrs. Majakowski's house.
I actually stood on this lawn. It was pretty awesome.
And because there are a lot of youtube videos from Glickman, where they filmed stuff right here. And I just now realized what is in the background of the next picture.
Oh yeah.
And this picture is not amazing, because I didn't see this until we almost went past it. I nearly missed it, but lucky I got it some what. And there was this girl on the tour with her boyfriend and when she saw this she turned to her bf was like "oh that is from this show Big Time Rush. My little sister watches it." XD
Roque Records!!!
Now in between seeing the "Talent Entrance" and Roque Records, we got to go on the set of the Palm Woods. Now I wish I had pictures of it, but sadly we were not aloud to take any pictures of sets inside. :( But, walking through the Palm Woods was so unreal. And we saw props from the Halloween episode. We walked through the lobby and got to walk around the pool area. And then we saw the vending machine that James was in in Break and it still had the indent from him being in there. So cool!
Sherwood Grocery store. Woo.
We were in the parking lot! Still so crazy.
The Palm Woods Park.
And the Paramount Theater where Gustavo held the Auditions. And the lobby in this theater is where they filmed all the stuff with the boys waiting to audition and the stage in here is the actual stage they used in Audition. We got to sit in the seats near the seats where the boys were hiding behind and it looked exactly like it did in Audition. Oh man.
Just because the boys did a photo shoot right here and it was in 7 Secrets.
Well that is it. And if you want the in-depth look at our tour of Paramount, again
stoodupforlove has that
here Ah, for fans of Victorious.
And if you are a fan of the show Community, look for the van on the left in an episode this season. (it has a KFC bucket on the front)
Now I am dead serious, these are pretty much all my pictures from California. So when my parents and brother wanted to see the pictures from my trip, they were a bit confused when they saw some of them. XD
Anyway, that is all, but it is not the last of our adventures, because I AM going to move to California. Hopefully in January, no I will. :) And then Kellie and I will have a Big Time Vacation all the time and she will marry Hotel Guy. It will be awesome. Thank you again Kellie, I love you!
