who's an idiot? oh yes, both sydney and kathleen

hey dee dee. so um, yes. kathleen and sydney suceeded today in locking themselves out of their room. bon travaille mes amis! then of course there were no ra's to be found to let us in. so we went to the rugby game, ate burgers, drank beer (of which syd drank too much) saw two boys from si who play for the ucla rugby team. got to gloat about beating them (yes teeny little claremont colleges beat big shots ucla. ha!) tried to learn gaelic today from bbc online. didn't work too well. think i need a proper class and a proper instructor. my scottish accent has been gettin better (or so i will believe), partly due to the fact that i've been listening to much bbc radio scotland online. highly recommend it. especially air. good stuff that. local bands and such. listened to german news too. understood "bundeskabinet" and maybe a couple other words. someday, my friends...someday.
i did a really good enactment of what would happen if sydney went to scotland. not much use to you tho as i can't exactly type it out. had sydney rolling in her make-shift couch (two chairs pushed together) when we were locked out.
scotland fucking rocks. can't wait to go back.
