I've watched about 37 in total. I find the list very American-centric (as usual) missed quite a number of excellent movies and a number of cult classics and threw in just a token few "foreign" films. There were definitely a few ridiculous films in there but who am I to argue?
What do you think should be on the list?
My suggestions:
The fifth Element (its like explaining the matrix)
Men in Black (cult classic!, culture & humor all in one!)
Spaceballs (mel brooks! mocking star wars! classic!)
Fantasia (Disney animation plus classical music? hello?)
Gladiator (do I really need to explain this?, the music, the story, the scenery, the half naked men fighting to death)
