MacBook Raising Race update
I have to say that I've been a bit overwhelmed by the response to the MacBook Raising Race: two donations from people I know, including one from D. Marie, and another 4 from people whose names I don't recognize.
I did unusually well money-wise for the holidays, so what's left in this little raising race? About $100. I would be happy if I could get $200 or $300, so that I can go ahead and get AppleCare, but I can put that off a bit.
If I can get $100 more dollars saved up by Thursday, then I can go ahead and get the new MacBook before classes start back next Monday, January 4th.
So I would love to kick this little raising race into high gear. If I can get another $100 to go with the $62 that's already been donated, then I can get the MacBook by the weekend. You have no idea how much that would mean to me.
