...and breathe
Well my new job starts on Monday 10th Sept - phew. Significant reduction in stress levels has resulted. Met with new boss today - seems very nice - bit of a twitcher and paints the birds too which is cool. Also met with admin staff to sort out office space etc - I will be getting them a hell of a lot of handrails as its an old building with lots of short stairways from one bit to another. But otherwise it looks fine. 50 min commute door to door which is definately shorter than for Northumbria.
After meetings went and shopped - having realised that the youngest of my T-shirts are over 2 years old and many are looking very tatty.
Must have a look at having a holiday - Dan and I deserve a break - and now I have someone paying the bills its financially do-able again. Probably sometime in Oct - not sure yet what sort of holiday - just so long as we get to have a rest. With my redundancy money etc it looks like I may even be able to pay for Xmas and not go into the red - a rare event :-) Altho I do owe the tax man about £1K so must put that away safe.
