In Kanata!
So!
Was pleasantly surprised to find that Marcela is my roomie in Kanata! Yay! This means that she will be in the gym while I do my embarassing workout video! Plus she is nice and not a bitch, etc.
It's interesting to compare the hotels. The room here is not as glamourous as the Holiday Inn, and the Front desk manager seems to be kind of an... anal douche... ...AND there is a creepy stain in the pool that looks like a submerged poo - so even though we have been informed that it's just a rust stain, it's still not very appetizing.
That said, pretty much everything else here is better. For example, they have 24/7 coffee and tea... AND cookies and apples. SWEET. Not to mention, there is real milk and cream for the coffee, which is a huge plus because Coffee Mate grosses me out.
I am also super excited that the showroom has... windows! So it's not like we are trapped in the basement like last time, unaware of the passage of time outside. The area around here is kinda depressing, what with it just being office parks, but meh, can win 'em all.
Anyways, what else? Sunday we went to High Park, had pizza and champagne, and... yeah.
New coworkers again... as always I have to get used to them and such, but it should be good. I like that I can just do my thing.
