cold sore prevention:
*taking L-lysene daily
*more probiotics (miso soup and/or yogurt also work for this)

sleep aids:
*2 drops lavender + 1 drop rosemary oils on the crown chakra (where the soft spot on a baby's head would be) right before bed -- you could alternately put them on your pillow, but it doesn't work as well
*chamomile tea
*valerian root tea (or capsules, it really tastes horrible)

stress:
*basil! basil basil basil basil. especially when it's interpersonal-related.
*5HTP (which may also help your sleep cycles)
*deep breathing. a lot. in through the nose, pause, out through the mouth, pause. rinse, lather, repeat
*eat more cheese, as long as you're not lactose intolerant

breakouts:
*oatmeal/avocado mix on the face (no sugar)
*toothpaste (not gel) on the spots can make them go away faster, but you look silly, so do it at night or when you're not going to be around people who you mind laughing at you. ...i suppose straight baking soda paste would work as well...
*witch hazel sprayed in a fine mist on the face every morning after washing
*Lush has some mighty fine products in this department, as well.

holy shit that's awesome!

I'd like to add on: immediately upon feeling a cold sore think about emerging, liberally apply tea tree oil several times a day for the next 3 days.
