Warning, contains lots of me. You're probably totally sick of seeing me right now. The rest of the pictures that didn't go on Instagram & Facebook.
Wanted to draw a Bucky Star on one side and a Cap shield on the other but apparently I can't see the sides of my head in a mirror. I asked Ruth to do this and stars are really hard guys.
Needed to get the camp chair to the parade for R to sit in and as she'd be pushing me it was best to carry it on the wheelchair. This was our test run. Works \o/ We used a bag from one of the granny trolleys that broke last year and hooked it over the handle. A lot more simple than I thought it was going to be. It also carried my cane and the umbrellas we had for shade but didn't need.
Before bleaching
Bleaching in progress
Floof. It made me laugh so much. I didn't hate it as much as I thought I would colour wise. Bleaching is still more faff than I want to do normally and it makes my hair feel crunchy gross. Coconut oil on it for a couple of hours helped but yeah.
Didn't manage a decent picture though. Couldn't stop laughing mainly.
Later there was Alisso's epic 80's do. Her hair was already light purple and just the roots needed doing with the bleach. The bleach mix was blue an once it was on the roots the rest of it stuck up like a teased up hair do and it looked amazing. It also looked amazing once she had it all purple again but less hilariously 80s.
Really liked this stuff. It went on well and two weeks later is still going strong. I have regrowth but it doesn't look like it's faded much at all. It's darker than we were expecting but it's got great depth and really glows in the sun.
It's about $20 in Penrith and we maybe used half a tub on my hair. Granted I don't have much hair and it's pretty short and I was only dyeing the top bit but yeah. They also have a teal I want to try and one point.
Purrrrrple!!
Apparently I was team Nat Tony that day.
Front of ADAG Apartments. Great place. Had a great stay there. Go stay with them. But not during Mardi Gras maybe because we still want to be able to get a room *nods*
Except you can't see it in this photo as I stood in front of a yellow light. It does though. Also Love the shirt even if it is silver and I'll probably spill stuff down it right away.
Not the most flattering pic of me but I'd flopped over the side of the couch and was taking it myself so.
I am not sure why I bother with rainbow eyeshadow. Once I put on my blue glasses and often even my big sunglasses over that you really can't see it.
Ridiculous poses while I try and take a pic showing both my rainbow hair and rainbow eyeshadow at once.
It was too warm for the shawl most of the time. I thought it was going to get cold enough at one point but then we started drinking and I warmed up fine.
We don't have enough pictures of us
Me after the parade. I'm starting to get over hating to see myself so I'm afraid there's a bunch of pictures of me.
Yarn bombed tree out the front. Wasn't us.
More clothes I can't afford. If Dave and his fiancée hadn't broken up and I had to go to a wedding I may have bought this.
That coat again. I'm sobbing that I can't afford it. It got real cold here and that would keep me warm and look awesome while doing it.
So this is the corset belt thing. Not corset at all really but shows that I have a waist under all the baggy clothes. Also shows how massive my hips are. It had hooks up the front and strong elastic on the back.
Day after we babysat the kids without warning or knowledge of their bedtime stuff. They woke at 4 something with Justin screaming and crying about mosquitoes and didn't go back to sleep. Aiden wouldn't go for a nap but fell asleep while R was reading to him.
Here's the baby blanket Ruth crocheted for Bonnie. Ugh. It will be a great playmat etc but it's cotton and that's a fucking lot of ends to weave and felt in and it's cotton so it sucks on the felting and ugh. It was endless. Got it done in time though. Was there about a week before the baby.
Unless we're getting paid lots any other blankets can be cotton or multi-coloured. Not both. >_<
Since we got home we've had a bunch of storms and a bit of rain which is good as we had none at all in February.
