phoned the doc. The barium contrast CT scan came back fine. I'm not sure that it actually rules out diverticulitus because everything I read online said you needed a bunch of other tests for that. I'm glad that there isn't anything wrong with my kidneys or liver but that wasn't actually anything I was worried about

I'm sorry that everything is made even harder for you. The difference in specialist and pathology fees from my first round with cancer (1999) to the second round (2010) was mind-blowing, hundreds of dollars difference. Considering all the barriers put in the way for people to even access specialists, it's cruel to then make it so expensive. Not to mention adaptive equipment.

Ack, I know that feeling of all the things you need but can't afford. It sucks. I hope they find the cause of this pain and can come up with a way to manage or treat it.
