We aren't visiting family for Christmas but it means we get to spend today at home. Today is our 14th anniversary. Despite all the health stuff life has thrown at both of us, we are happier than ever with our relationship. We are stronger together. We spend pretty much all day, every day together and aren't sick of each other yet. We fit. It's wonderful to be in love with your best friend and have them love you back just as much.
We always sort of said we'd get married on our 10th anniversary but Australia is behind the times so we're still waiting.
Ruth, my love, you are my everything. You make me happy and all the shit I've had to deal with in my life I wouldn't change a thing in case it meant we didn't end up like this. You make me me. I love that we can share our hobbies and obsessions. I'm so glad I get to read your fic and get to show you my art. I love that we can flail about fictional characters together.
