(no subject)
things have been shit. We were going away for xmas to see family. Then we had to get the car serviced and the air con fixed and then we got forms through for Ruth's disability pension review (due 23rd Dec) and then the car broke again and we had to stay in town. Oh and somewhere in there my pelvic floor problem got so bad it sublaxed my hip. Hip is back in but sitting is still causing lots of problems and I'm in lots of pain.
We cancelled Christmas visit and hopefully can go away over New Year to see people.
The internet is so slow that nothing much will load. I have some Harry/Ron xmas/winter art to share but I don't know if I'll get it up before we go to Sydney.
My POTS is worse because I'm spending so much time lying down and Ruth's anxiety and panic attacks are really bad thanks to trying to get presents finished, having to go away from home to see people, money issues, stupid Centrelink sending us review stuff over Xmas/New Year, doctor's visit for review stuff not going so well (partly sorted out now), the car fucking up and us having to stay in town and then deal with Ruth's step dad and uncle so we could get home the next day and sort the dogs out, having to sit in the back of the Hilux while uncle drove us in to town again (thought we were going to die. He was awful. Way, way too fast for that road and mostly on the wrong side of the road. Fine if you can shut the road off and use it as a racetrack but other people come hooning around the bends too and you wont be able to see them and if you swerve, you drive off a fucking cliff. Also so many animals end up on the road. Only takes one and ugh.)
So yeah. Not so great right now. I just want to sit and draw and maybe spin some yarn.
I have read some amazing fic though and Ruth is reading through all the Winter Solider comics and Steve stuff when he comes back from being dead after Civil War. Steve doesn't follow orders, he's not a good soldier, he's not doing tactician stuff, he doesn't have a plan. He just jumps in and makes it up. Bucky does the same but mostly gets the shit kicked out of him and has to have Sam or Natasha come save his ass. And then Steve gets pissy at Bucky for not having a plan etc. XD I feel so sorry for Sam *g*
