First Day of School!
It's the first day of school, and I'm sitting at home in silence. I miss the sounds of the kids, but I know that they are having a good time with their friends at school.
This summer was a mess - family illnesses, a car accident (I wasn't driving this time), changing vacation plans, craziness of all sorts.
But in the end, we had fun, started a new family tradition (weekend hiking), visited state parks, and helped my parents move stuff into their new house in Ohio.
Aargh - sometimes I think a pirate's life would be much simpler. Put the pointy end of the sword into your opponents, and take all that you can carry.
