When worlds collide....
One of the last places I expected my fannish life and my 'normal' life to intersect was at church. So imagine my surprise last week when our Pastor,while talking to us about how we could be a more welcoming congregation, asked us "What would you think if someone dressed in black and white like a Goth came to church one Sunday?" So, of course, I thought of my favorite lab technician, Abby, from N.C.I.S. . And there she was, as her ownself, Pauley, talking about how she came to join one of the Methodist churches in L.A. It was very touching and personal and heartfelt. According to our Pastor, Pauley is also one of the spokespeople for the anti-malarial campaign "Nothing but Nets" for the Church, as well.
