Jonathan reminded me that I should mention...we have a recipe / cooking blog!
www.fortheloveofseitan.com
There's not much on it right now, but we're adding to it as we can. It's basically vegan food made to actually taste as good as non-vegan food (because I hate hippie gruel and veggie mush), and it's easy recipes that just about anyone could make, regardless of cooking experience. Most of the time, the most consuming part is chopping the vegetables. And we don't usually use weird ingredients like umeboshi vinegar that normal people can't find in normal supermarkets (but if we do, we will provide a normal substitute).
Basically, when you're dating a vegan, you end up cooking vegan. And for someone who misses the taste of meat, it can be difficult. So I started adapting my non-vegan recipes to be vegan, and with unexpected success!
Soon to be added:
Spicy Thai Gra Prow with coconut rice, shredded cucumber and peanut sauce
Vegan Chili
Vegan Shepherd's Pie
Sunday Roasties
enjoy!
