2006 in review
Write the first subject line/sentence of the first post of each month of 2006:
January: I am so stupid.
February: No one is going to want to come near me today, I just had a roast beef sandwich with garlic mayo.
March: Jon came over last night and we went to the Tibetan place in Davis Square.
April: I met Timmah! at Kendall around 2:30ish yesterday and we wandered around Boston...
May: So apart from the discomfort of being on antibiotics all weekend, it wasn't half-bad.
June: Jon and I went out for Indian last night.
July: This comic is freaking hysterical.
August: Went to wings last night with Jon.
September: So I'll eventually read the backlog of entries y'all posted, but I'm too tired (and busy) right now.
October: First off, let me just state for the record that the concept of Fat Free Half & Half frightens and disturbs me.
November: Cindy's mom died on Monday.
December: Bristol-Myers is donating a dollar to AIDS research everytime someone goes to their website and moves the match to the candle and lights it.
I have to say that April's *second* entry had me in hysterics. But it's locked, so only one other person is going to get it. That is all.
JANUARY
1. Who kissed you on new years?
No one.
2. Did you have a new year's resolution this year?
Not really.
3. Does it snow where you live?
Usually. When it's not 70 throughout November.
4. Do you like hot chocolate?
Yes.
5. Have you ever been to Times Square to watch the ball drop?
Yes. It sucked, for all the reasons mule13 mentioned.
FEBRUARY
1. Who was your Valentine?
I had just gone on my first date with Jon 6 days prior, so I guess he'd be it. :)
2. When you were little, did you buy valentines for your whole class?
Yes.
3. Do you care if the groundhog sees its shadow or not?
Nope.
MARCH
1. Are you Irish?
Yes, of an indeterminate percentage.
2. Do you wear green on St. Patty's Day?
Absolutely.
3. What did you do for St. Patty's Day in 2006?
Ate dinner at Kinsale with a bunch of people (I had green beer!), and the headed to the Roxy for some hot Saw Doctors action.
4. Are you happy when winter is pretty much over?
No more snow??? *sob*
APRIL
1. Do you like the rain?
Yes.
2. Did you play an April fool's joke on anyone this year?
Nope.
3. Do you get tons of candy on Easter?
Some.
4. Do you celebrate 4/20?
Not a big pothead, thanks.
5. Do you love the month of April?
... no more than any other month.
MAY
1. What is your favorite flower?
Irises!
2. Do you like the spring.
Yes, but my sinuses don't.

JUNE

'95. I'm old.

Ummm... I'm sure I did, but I can't remember specifics.
JULY

Went camping, then to Jon's for a party.
2. Did you go on any vacations during this month?
Yes, camping I said!
3. Do you blast the A/C all day?
Not all day, just when I'm home.
AUGUST
1. Did you do anything special at the end of your summer?
Went to California
2. What was your favorite summer memory of '06?
Jon and I sitting under the stars while we were camping (that was in July... shhhh!).
3. Did you have a sunburn?
Yes.
4. Did you go to the beach a lot?
No.
SEPTEMBER
1. Did you attend school/college in '06?
No, but I went to workshops at a conference for work!
2. Who is your favorite teacher?
Ummm...
3. Do you like fall better then summer?
Absolutely.
OCTOBER
1. What was your Halloween costume?
The Ugly One from Teen Girl Squad. :)
2. What is your favorite candy?
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
3. Who's birthday is during this month?
ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and Jon, and my sister, and my brother, etc. etc. etc.)
NOVEMBER
1. Whose house do you go to for Thanksgiving?
We went to Jon's brother's house.
2. Do you love stuffing?
YES! Which is why I made my own "safe" stuffing to bring.
3. What are you thankful for?
Jon. He really is terrific.
DECEMBER
1. Do you celebrate Christmas?
Sure.
2. What is December 1st, 2006?
Ummmm...
3. Have you ever been kissed under mistletoe?
Not really.
4. Get anything special last year?
