New glass for the door was only the first step. As I mentioned earlier, it's slightly warped at the top and the weatherstripping/doorstop reinforced the warp. So I pulled the old weatherstripping and doorstop out and replaced it. It doesn't show here, but what I've done is add a wedge at the bottom to force the lower part of the door out and the upper part in. Hopefully over time and with varying weather & humidity it will cure itself. We'll see.
I do like the old (ca. 1880) door latch I salvaged.
Meanwhile, Aaron continued his fine work by adding a porch skirt. Here he is at the start of the project:
