New year, new post
Posting in 2014 so if I don't check in again the rest of the year at least I got this year checked off post-wise.
I am in love. I met a guy in October and we've been seeing each other ever since. I love him, he loves me. (Like, he said the L word first. I don't think I've ever dated anyone who said it first. How did I ever find him?) I think he may be *gasp* The One. It's only been 3 months but I have no reservations about him. My boo.
Work is going well. One of the midwives is leaving as her husband accepted a job in California so I should be catching babies agin by April when I slide over to her job.
My life is pretty damn peachy, actually.
My mother is kind of a shit show but if my year plus of therapy has taught me anything is she's been kind of a shit show all along but I just see it more now. I hope she goes to therapy as well someday. We could all use a little cleaning up of our shit showiness.
