kate darling....such big reflections for the beginning of the december!! don't worry, i remember thinking that as well. but some advice about it:
enjoy the time that you have left. don't spend the whole time thinking about how it will soon be over. make the most of the time you have left, even if it's just continuing to do what you always have done.
concentrate on building the friendships that you have and make them as strong as they can be. this is the time to stop worrying so much about the people you are not close with. don't go out of your way to ignore them or anything like that...but make your friendships the best they can be, because in eight months time, you're going to be thrown for a loop!
but most of all, just enjoy being with the people that you love. because really, when you look back on high school, you're going to remember the times you had with your best friends, all the wild and crazy stuff you did. those people are going to be the ones you keep in contact with. the other people...well, you're going to realize that you don't really need to talk to them. you had a fun time in high school, but eight months from now is going to be the time where you really have to work to keep things going.
but for now, darling kate...just enjoy the time you have left in high school. laugh and party as much as you can...cuz it all goes downhill from there! (just kidding)
